Man, I was in desperate need of a new journal post- that old one was really bugging me!

So anyways; since I got a bunch of new watchers – thank you so much! - I decided to repost my FAQ thing... just to control those random notes I’ve been receiving:

FAQ

*What program do you use?

Adobe Photoshop and a Wacom Tablet for inking.

*Do you take requests?

NO.

*Can I use your images in my Blog?

You have to ask first. If I allow you to, after checking your web site- which you must give me the address- respect my copyrights and give me credits!

*Can you teach me how to draw?

Man, I'm learning it myself, I can't "teach" anything to anybody- yet All I can say is: practice. A lot! There's really no secret to it

*How do you create your characters?

The idea for each one of them just came to me one day, under particular circumstances. I don't force anything, it just doesn’t work like that...just go with the flow of your imagination...profound, hu?

* How does a commission works?

You send your order by note, explaining to me, with details –and if needed, character references- what is it that you want me to draw. I’ll show you the sketch, lined and the final version of the image, and once you’re happy, we’re done

*How can I pay a commission?

By Paypal (www.paypal.com). Check the price list.

*Can I draw your characters?

Of course! I love fan arts; just PLEASE note me if you do, cause I would love to see it

*Are you interested in art trades?
Nope.



I would also like to announce that I got into –and already started- one of our best universities here in Brazil ( I applied for Fine Arts, of course) which means that after Easter things will get really crazy for me...which doesn’t mean I won’t try to keep the gallery alive, but on the contrary: I have lots of ideas and some stuff I intend to submit real soon, so keep checking

Random Facts about Me:

1. I just recently made a haircut and won a pretty new look that made me look 5 years younger;

2. I kind`a have other personalities, with different names and all, that express my constantly changing moods and likes/dislikes. I even sign stuff –like birthday cards- using them all. Sometimes my friends don’t know how to call me, so they ask how I’m feeling before they do- just so they can chose the proper name…how insanely weird is that??

3. I have too pinschers (a skinny/noisy/moody female and her chubby/quiet/lazy/abnormally big puppy) that usually sleep in my bed with me;

4. I have this incredible ability –it’s more like a curse - to fall only for older boys who live so far away from me–like; in other cities and even countries – that makes impossible for us to make it work;

5.I plan to finish my studies abroad;

6. I’m a chocolate/coffee/crap food addicted, but somehow I manage to keep in shape and lose weigh Some people call me a "Gilmore Girl";

7. I bite my nails since forever. Been trying to stop since forever.

8. I plan to learn French as my next foreign language.

CAREFUL; IT CONTAINS MOVIE SPOILERS!!

Pros:

YYYYYYAYYYYYYY!!! FINALLY!! TODAY WAS THE PREMIER; SO I DRAGGED MY BROTHER TO THE THEATER RIGHT AWAY AND…AND… I FELL IN LOVE! The first 11 minutes of movie made me realize how much I missed seeing good 2D animation on the big screen… and the soooongs!!! Those princess/prince theme songs!! …I mean, I know the whole purpose of the movie was to make fun – in a classy way, though- of those typical Fairy Tale stories, but let’s be frank: Disney knows how to do it way better then those jealous dudes from DreamWorks ( not that I don’t like Shrek, cause I do ) …Is just… it’s so refreshing to see my beloved studio finally taking a shot and finding a moment to look back at those glorious Disney days, not to copy their famous stories, but to reuse them, honoring their memories in this new, modern era of movie-making…With some hilarious scenes like the “cleaning up song”, of course, haha!

To some up: it was so pathetically perfect that I’ll definitely wanna watch it over and over again!

Cons:

* I was expecting more from the Witch once she got into the real world and turned into that Dragon L
* Hey,what the heck was Peter Pettigrew doing on their cast?!
* I wish the animated scenes were longer, and I wonder if the directors were too apprehensive to make it so…
* YES, I reeeally liked Prince Edward and I so desperately wanted him to end up with dear Giselle…I really liked her innocent princess way at the beginning of the movie, and I was hoping she was gonna go back…
* It’s a shame Disney is not bold enough to try and use their 2D perfection not only for comedy, but to real movies like the old times…

Woooooooooooah it’s mah birthday!!!! I just CAN’T BELIEVE I’m 20 - I still fell like 15 I mean, today I’m completing TWO decades, and man, that’s way too much- CAN’T BELIEVE I’M GETTING THAT OLD!!! HAHAHAHAHA! And still…I’m happy^^ Gotta celebrate with my friends- once the bastards are back…the majority of them are traveling- to compensate from last night…I had dinner with my family in this fancy French restaurant while my parents were sobbing – they don’t like the idea of “losing” me or smth, hehe, the poor things! Oh, yeah: and at the desserts the waiters brought a Petit Gateau with this sparkler candle, and they were singing, and the pianist playing, and everybody was standing up and looking at me, and strangers were congratulating me and…and…I felt like digging a tunnel and hiding until all that mess was over!
